“This cruise was AWESOME! Above and beyond our expectations. We were there from NJ visiting our kids on the island and went on the cruise for something different and fin to do. We saw 5 whales and followed them for an hour and a half! They were so cool! We’ve never seen anything like it. We have so many pictures of the whales swimming and jumping near the boat. We also saw a bunch of huge sea lions on a rock island. The boat slowed nearby so we could watch them. Even without the whales, the cruise was great; beautiful scenery, friendly, accommodating and a very knowledgable Captain and crew. We learned a ton about killer whales. There was even snack and drink bar. We HIGHLY recommend this excursion!!“

“The guides were very informative and great at working with the other area guides to get us close to the whales. Saw four different orcas on our journey. This boat is fast so can cover more territory quickly, freeing up some of your day. It is chilly though so they provided survival suits that were very warm.
Enjoy having two people that know the islands and the habitat. They were able to answer any questions and pointed out many things you wouldn’t see otherwise.”

“This was my first week living in Seattle and I took a day trip this Saturday and booked San Juan Safaris for whale watching. This was my first time going whale watching and it was AWESOME!! The naturalist knew everything about the whales, seals, and the area we were in. I saw orcas for the first time and it was breathtaking. We also saw a humpback coasting the Canadian shoreline. It was a very comfortable boat and I recommend this to anyone wanting to get out on the water. Thank you captain and Olivia!“

“This was my first time visiting the west coast and our guides Matt and Kelly made sure we saw as much of the native wildlife as possible. They were very knowledgeable about the landscape’s ecology and natural history. We got close looks at bald eagles, harbor seals and a group of three female orcas breaching the water with their babies. Captain Vaun got us close enough looks of the wildlife while maintaining respectful distances to keep from disturbing them. We actually missed the ferry to get to our tour on the original date, but they were able to get us on the same tour the next day at a similar time. If you are looking for a tour to see as much as possible, choose San Juan Safaris“
