Resident Whales in the Strait of Georgia

Well it was a long journey, but it was well worth it! It’s always a rare treat for guest to be able to cross into the canadian borders-once across you are surrounded by steep cliffsides and motoring through narrow channels. It is an incredible backdrop to seeing wildlife in the Salish Sea. Once outside of the channels we entered into the open water of the Straits of Georgia, with Vancouver looming in the distance, and low and behold we could see a few blows in the foreground!
